*Please keep in mind these are just our plans. We always have a back up plan for each pairing and the stud may be changed at the last minute.*
Golden Retrievers typically have a heat cycle every 6-9 months. This means that the timelines for when our future litters are due are just our best guess. The timing is ultimately up to each individual dog. Once one of our girls is in heat and bred we have a more certain due date and time frame for when those puppies will be ready for their new homes. We can confirm their pregnancies 30 Days after they have been bred. We never know how many puppies will be in a litter or what genders they will be until they are here. We typically have a puppy count X-ray done in the last week of pregnancy, once the puppies bones have calcified, which gives us a more certain idea of how many puppies to expect.
Once born we will wait until the puppies are at least 2 weeks old before we start going through our waitlist and reserving every puppy. In these first days of life puppies are very fragile, and we like to make sure they are healthy, strong, and thriving before we promise one to someone on our waitlist.
If you wish to have us fly with your puppy to your nearest international airport let us know as soon as possible. We like to make our flight arrangements 30 days in advance in order to ensure that there is room on the flight for the puppy, and to get you the best possible rate. Once you’ve decided to move forward with getting a puppy from a specific litter, we can provide a quote for delivery. The cost for transportation is due before the flight is booked. Feel free to email us at priderockgoldenretrievers@gmail.com if you have any questions.
